Glamping at Nayomi Resort
When we think of the great outdoors, we think of roughing it out and experiencing the rawness of nature. But if you're with your girlfriends, this might not be very appealing. The great thing is that you can go camping without having to sacrifice comfort. Glamorous camping or "Glamping", as it is more commonly called, is fast becoming a go-to weekend bonding experience. Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Balete in Batangas can offer you just that!
What is Glamping?
"Glamping" is experiencing camping without having to forego the comfort of staying in a hotel room. No need to say goodbye to comfy beds, and toilet and bath. It’s a convenient and enjoyable way to enjoy the outdoors!
During my "Glamping" experience in Coron and Apo Reef, it was tedious to fetch water from a well and work with a bidet (a true-blue cowgirl right there). This was not the case in Nayomi Resort's newly-opened "Glamping" accommodation. I decided to bring my girl friends to this trip, as it was only two hours away from Manila and the accommodations were at par with their travel standards.
Perched atop a hill and overlooking the scenic Taal Lake, Nayomi Resort offers a quick respite for those seeking to getaway from the city for a day or two. Seriously, just look at that view!
Our tent contained 3 super comfy double-sized mattresses, soft linens, blankets and fluffy pillows. It was so spacious that it could easily fit 5-6 people. There's also a fan for ventilation and outlets to charge your gadgets. The tent also comes with a padlock, so your valuables are safely locked.
Every tent has their own open air dining area, where guests could lounge over some bottles of beer and fresh fruit shakes or enjoy good food from Nayomi Resort’s Anahaw Restaurant. Be sure to try their pinakbet, potato fries and bulalo! There was not an ordered meal on their menu that I did not like!
No getaway would be complete without going for quick dip in their pool, right? Relax in one of Nayomi's two pools. Please, enjoy this with a fruit shake! You cannot go wrong. While the weather was quite gloomy during our visit, the ambience of Nayomi made up for it.
It can get pretty cold at night so the bonfire session was a great way to end the day for us.
The following day, we woke up feeling refreshed in the midst of nature and the cool weather. My friends and I had an amazing bonding experience, and we cannot thank the staff enough for being so warm and accommodating. Definitely a balance of comfort and nature, we will surely be back at Nayom Resorti!
